new start
It's been almost three years, since I last posted something on here. But now when I start my new project, I'll need some place to empty my thoughts. Diaries have never worked for me, so I figured, maybe a blog will do, since I get to be creative too.
So why am I starting again? This thing that I'm about to start has never been this "losing weight" thing, or that's what I try not to call it, although it would be considered as that. I have "tried" to do this several years, sometimes harder, sometimes less. But the thought of losing weight/toning up has always been on my mind.
We had an agreement with my best friend that by summer 2017 we will have as close as we can the bodies that we see all over the internet. So that's where the thought started from. I have more work to do than my friend does though, but maybe it will act as a motivator for me. Who knows, I might be at the same level as she already in April, and then we can start to work towards her goal together (which is now kind of unimaginable for me, so that's why I chose an "easier" example).
Earlier I haven't had a hard time to stay of all sweets and sorts. The sweets I have been eating about once a week have been raw dough balls made of cashews and dates (which are healthy, but calorie-packed), and that's it. But these weeks leading up to Christmas have been weird for me. Usually I only eat the traditional Christmas things on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and on Boxing Day, but this year I've been eating gingerbread(dough) and Christmas sweets every week several times a week during December. I don't go overboard, but this year I've done it a few times. Every single sweet/pastry I see, I eat. But don't be frightened, I haven't put on weight that much, maybe one pound. The feeling is more important.
I bought the 28 Day Vegan Reset from Blogilates in late November, during Black Friday weekend. I thought this was a great way to have a kickstart to the whole thing. I tried to follow it and most days I succeeded, but since I removed oil mostly from my diet, I feel kind of suffocated, although I get enough to eat. I have also started to count calories by the help of S Health, with comes with Samsung devices.
I will do well one to three days, but then I feel as I've done it forever and still I feel like I'm restricting myself, which I don't. The recipes are packed with flavour and I'm excited to eat them, but somehow, my brains don't get it.
So that's why I decided that this blog was the best option for me. Here I will share my daily feelings, what I ate and what kind of workout did I do. And I can't slip up, since I've got this blog to keep me from telling that I've slipped up ;)
